First Men – “Being Real”
What is First Men? First Men is all the men of our church who gather together to support our pastors and all the ministries of our church. We are dedicated to encouraging all men in their faith and helping each other grow in our personal spiritual lives. In addition to various outreach efforts around the church, First Men meets each Wednesday for a Bible study focused on addressing issues pertinent to man’s daily life. With this growing knowledge of the Bible, we strive to discern God’s will for our lives and to be active participants in good works.
All men are welcome to join us on Wednesday 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Please join us for food, fellowship and discussion either on a regular basis or when your schedule allows. If interested, please stop by the 3rd floor of the Wesley building or contact FirstMen@fumc-orl.org.

Join the Children’s Choir! Please join us on Wednesday, August 25, from 6 – 7 p.m., in Room 311 of the Wesley Building, to kick off the new singing season with a brief parent meeting and refreshments. Under the direction of Mary Jane Nunley, our regular weekly rehearsal schedule will begin on Wednesday, September 1, from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. for K thru 1st grade Carol choir, and from 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. for the 2nd through 5th grades Alleluia Choir. We sing about once a month in worship, and also participate in larger musical productions. We develop voices, play instruments and learn musical skills. Most importantly, we provide children with a way to express their faith and contribute to the worship life of the church in a fun and meaningful way.
