Our Vision Statement:
Becoming better stewards of the earth and caring for it's resources as God's gifts for sustaining life.

John Wesley"I believe in my heart that faith in Jesus Christ can and will lead us beyond an exclusive concern for the well-being of other human beings to the broader concern for the well-being of the birds in our backyards, the fish in our rivers, and every living creature on the face of the earth." -
John Wesley Founder of the Methodist movement, 1703-1791

Recently a small band of church members formed a team to address issues of stewardship relating to the care of God’s creation.  Their first project has been to assemble a simple pamphlet that would help all of us learn some tips about reducing our energy and water use and being aware of the local recycling and hazardous waste facilities located in the Greater Orlando area.  It is short, yet contains some helpful and practical information about these topics.  Here is a link to this pamphlet : GUIDE TO CARING FOR GOD'S CREATION.

The group, which has named itself “The Green Team”, will be continuing to meet and pray about what other ways our congregation might be faithful in this particular area of discipleship.  Current members of the Green Team are:
